Lets just go down the list of excitement at Brew and Plow Farm. Besides the everyday Ho Hum of dusting, vacuuming, dishes and Laundry our little farm keeps plugging along.
We continue to make progress on our Storage room slash Den project.
Yesterday we collected 56 Eggs and today we collected 36. Is that a sign of the impending slow down and molt. We don't keep a light in the big coop and have decided it is better for our girls if we let nature take its course. I'll keep you posted on the egg count.
Speaking of our chickens, we lost one of our "Red's" last night. It is a very sad think to come upon when you are not expecting and when are you ever expecting to come upon a dead chicken. Had to get her out of the run. I forgot to turn on the electric fence and see what it got me. So Sad, well its ON now.
Our Teenager Chicks are still be stubborn, I even tried to shoo them out of their coop today. They just ran around in circles and avoided the door. My baby chicks are big Ol Chickens. hahaha
The Hello Honey Bee's, Well just for the records except when you first get them and when you make periodic checks they really don't need much in the attention department until we harvest the honey. Now we are still feeding honey water on the far side of the yard. They seem hungry so we will keep feeding them. Hope it will be good honey.
The Limestone Brewery: hmmm wish I could get the master brewer to write me a little article about his brewing. I can vouch for his Mead, it is wonderful, but his beer is a little hoppy for me. I hear that is how good beer is to be. :)
Naanie's corner will come underway after the grandbaby is born,. Yeah for me.
Naanie's craft corner if full of exciting crafts and we have added a page with our etsy link. There are items at our etsy store, but I would say I am still getting use to the site so please be patient with me.
I think that is all the News of the Day.
